No, for your comfort and safety, no smoking is permitted inside the residences! Smoking is only allowed on the front porch or rear deck.

No pets are permitted on the property.
May I host parties? 🥳
For the peace-of-mind and quiet comfort of the housemates, house parties are not permitted on the premises. We encourage you to take advantage of the many nearby bars and entertainment venues!
What is the cleaning policy? 🫧
Our accommodations have organized cleaning systems in place, which build community trust, respect, and rapport, and require accountability and participation from all housemates.

We rent to ALL people! We seek responsible, mature and considerate applicants, who value and appreciate excellent housing and will respect the rules and their fellow tenants!
What is the closest metro station or bus line? 🚌🚇
Both locations are 9 blocks from the Petworth metro station and just 1 block from multiple bus lines and a bikeshare! 🚲
What modifications to the rooms are allowed? 🖼️
No painting is permitted. However, hanging your own art using command strips or small picture hooks that do not damage the walls is permitted.
May I burn incense/sage or candles? 🕯️
For your safety, only “flameless” candles are permitted on the premises.
May I bring my own furniture? 🪑
Our accommodations come fully-furnished. Unfortunately, we cannot swap out our furniture or store yours. You may only bring small accent furniture if the space in your room allows. No personal refrigerators are allowed on the premises. Food must be stored in the kitchen only.
Is there a guest policy? 🛌🏽
Yes, limited overnight guest visits are permitted. However, long stays and “live-in” guests are disallowed. In addition, no couch-surfing or subleasing is permitted.
Is there a rental application fee?
No, there is no cost to apply!
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, upon approval of your rental application, we require a security deposit in the amount of one month's rent to reserve a room.
Note that the deposit may not be used as a substitute for rent.
When will I get my deposit back?
While many landlords take up to 45 days to refund a security deposit, with us there is no delay! Your security deposit is refunded at the end of your stay, on the day of your departure, less utilities through your day of departure, payable using the same method that you used to place your deposit! -- That's right! No hassle! No delays!
How long is the lease?
We offer flexible lease-terms, affording you the opportunity to choose a short or longterm stay.
